The company was founded by the Karaman family in 1952 in Istanbul and continued activities here until moved to Düzce in 1999. The company has allocated a large part of its capacity to the energy sector and specialized in this field since 2002. In 2004 new induction furnaces, were commissioned to increase capacity.
In 2013, it was decided that the existing facility would specialize only in the energy sector, and the production for other sectors would be made in a new facility. In this context, the company opened its second facility in Düzce 1st Organized Industrial Zone in 2015.
In 2018, Karaman Döküm started to serve its customers in the field of machining with the CNC machines added to its machine portfolio.
The primary aim of Karaman Döküm, is to provide solutions to its customers' problems with R&D activities, while providing to customers' casting and machined part needs with high product quality and maximum customer satisfaction.
